Washington, DC, August 10, 2016 – Metalogix, the premier provider of unified software to migrate, manage and secure content across enterprise collaboration platforms, today announced the appointment of Microsoft sales veteran, Kevin Adler to the newly created position of Strategic Account Executive, US State & Local Government. The appointment further bolsters the Public Sector team, adding to the leadership and momentum that has been driving the business unit’s tremendous growth.
With 16 years of direct Microsoft public sector experience, Adler is the perfect addition to the Metalogix public sector team. His deep knowledge of Microsoft collaboration solutions will help Metalogix add more value to an agency’s investment in SharePoint and Office 365. Adler’s seasoned knowledge of Microsoft platforms and how they’re enhanced by Metalogix’s solutions will become a significant benefit to state and local government agencies and industry partners.
“State and local government agencies are facing challenges similar to those faced by their federal counterparts in terms of cloud adoption and the pursuit of modernization initiatives,” said Tod Tompkins, Vice President, Public Sector at Metalogix. “Kevin’s proven ability to successfully deliver solutions into the state and local marketplace will significantly enhance our ability to assist agencies with their migration, security and management needs.”
Adler brings to Metalogix a track record of exceeding customer and partner expectations. Most recently, he served as a Solutions Sales Professional, Microsoft Dynamics Service, bringing cloud-based knowledge management, self-service and customer service social software solutions together into a formidable combination that will significantly enhance our ability to lead agencies in standing up, migrating and operating their Microsoft SharePoint or Office 365 collaboration platforms. He has also been instrumental in establishing Microsoft as a contender in the public sector geospatial marketplace as a solutions specialist for Microsoft Bing Maps for Enterprise. Prior to that, Adler started his career at Microsoft as a Marketing Manager for public sector, where he led strategy, messaging, design and campaign execution for servers, productivity and developer tools.
“My years at Microsoft have given me a unique perspective on how Microsoft’s offerings help government agencies improve their citizen services through increased coordination and operational visibility,” said Adler. “Metalogix has always been a company that not only understands SharePoint and Office 365 environments but has continually delivered solutions that improve those platforms for the unique challenges that agencies face with storage, management, auditing and security.”
