People Need People

Quincy Seymore is founder and CEO of the People Need People organization. He is the dedicated father of five and a native son of Savannah, GA, where he grew up. After high school, he moved to Virginia to attend college where he begin coaching Pop Warner football with the Centreville Wildcats. However, he quickly realized he wanted to serve his country and enlisted in the Marine Corp.

He returned to Savannah after his service. He took notice of the needs of the youth in the inner city. He wanted to create positive opportunities for the youth, help eradicate poverty and empower the families within the city. He spent over 2500 hours volunteering everywhere from the local school system to coaching pop warner and middle school football. During this time, he began to envision People Need People. The organization has held events such as providing hot breakfasts to the homeless and collecting school uniforms and supplies for school children in need. Quincy’s dream to grow the organization into an integral part of the life of Savannah youth by bringing together leaders of different communities who want to target the high drop rate, juvenile incarceration, and poverty.

Mission Statement

To give inner city youth an outlet to express themselves and channel their frustration into something positive, while molding them into successful, productive members of society. To inspire children and promote family!
